A Wedding in the Woods

Whew! It has been HOT around FXBG the last couple of days!

Summer is right around the corner but Spring Wedding Season has been in full swing around the area. Soft colors, warm temperatures and loads of freshly picked floral bouquets set the scene for incredible weddings this time of year.

Mixing it up a bit – and maybe just wishing for the temps to be a tad bit cooler – we are sharing a gorgeous, moody Winter Wedding featuring Cait and Jason that took place December 23, 2016 at Stevenson Ridge.

Cait wore a lace gown from Ava Laurenne Bride that fit perfectly in the wooded setting and for the time of year. Incorporating overflowing greenery and berries gave an ethereal feeling to the floral arrangements done by Mary Washington Hospital florist, Amanda Hutcheson.

Sorby Sweets created the perfect cake with figs and berries nestled on top. The intimate event was cozy and warm with family and friends dancing the night away to tunes played by DJ Jim Eppard.
