It’s pretty crazy that today is November 1st and the holiday season is right around the corner.
Life for the next two months begins to get a bit more hectic with decorating, gift purchasing, family gatherings, parties to attend and much more.
But today, take the time to just stop – breathe deep – and think about what you are thankful for. Make it a point each day during the month of November to reflect on the things in life that mean to the most to you (and your family).
Here are a few ways to keep track of what you are thankful for:
START A BLESSINGS JAR

Use any jar you have on hand and jot down what you are thankful for, blessings that you have in your life or things that make you happy each day. Fold them up and stick them in the jar. At the end of the month, read them with a smile.

MAKE A GRATITUDE WREATH

Grab a straw wreath from your local craft store along with some orange, yellow, brown and red construction paper. Cut leaf shapes out of the paper. Write what you are thankful for on the leaves and tack them onto your wreath using straight pins. At the end of the month, your wreath will be filled with leaves of gratitude.
START NOW
Even if you didn’t begin any of these on November 1, start on whatever day you choose.
Any day is a great day to be thankful.
