Join the Fairy Godmother Project, Strong For Dom Foundation and SlyeStrong #6 Foundation for a Day of Gold on Friday, September 15 to spread awareness about Childhood Cancer.
How you can you get involved on Friday, September 15??
- Wear Gold! Grab some ribbon from the craft store and create your own Gold Ribbons then share them with others. Pin the ribbons on you and your family to signify that you support Childhood Cancer Awareness.
- Come to the Painting with Purpose event from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at Old Mill Park where you, your family and friends can paint rocks Gold then hide them for others to find around the Fredericksburg area. All the supplies will be provided. Paint for 30 minutes, an hour or stay the entire time.
- Get your walk on at the Heart of Gold Awareness Walk from 6:30 – 8:00 pm starting at Old Mill Park. This is a free walk for anyone would like to join. Come at 6:00 pm to sign the banner, then walk one mile to support kids fighting childhood cancer. Be sure to wear Gold and bring others along with you!
